I’ve worked in customer related fields as well as noncustomer related fields, and while it is best to know what your strengths and weaknesses are; that is not to say that you can never evolve or change in anyway!!! As for the whole “your work will show if you hate your job” thing. Sure, depending on what type of personality you have it just might, but I hate my current job, 11 years of working for the same employer I was demoted after an accident that left me on FMLA for 12 weeks, and overlooked for the past decade. My reviews are always very positive and I am known by supervisors and upper management alike as a solid employee with great training skills, and a “great work ethic” the only thing is that anyone who knows me knows I hate what I do and who I work for. No, it doesn’t show in my daily tasks or body language because I am not that kind of person who slacks off just because I wish my job would burn to ash…
