Nurse RN Forum – Looking for More…and I found it..Used my Nursing Skills and started 2 businesses: I just found this forum and wanted to of…

I just found this forum and wanted to offer the nurses who are frustrated some encouragement. I’ve been in nursing a little over 10 years, saw my charge nurses get humiliated in front of the staff my second year in nursing. (For calling the director because we needed more staff) and I decided that I didn’t want that to EVER be me. Thankfully, I have made some great and not so great positions where I am able to now work PRN at a clinic in which I LOVE and I wrote a book for nurses which has done well and blossomed into consulting. My point is don’t limit yourself to the bedside. I love nursing but doing it full time had run its’ course and it was time for me to move on. And for many nurses, you’ve outgrown the bedside but you still want to stay there. If you would like, check out my FB page and group…I always discuss business opportunities for nurses and nursing professions that pay 6 figures or close to it. I’ve had the chance to work with some great nurses in my 10 years and it saddens me to see nurses with bad backs and aching feet pushing stretchers because they have to..Be intentional about your happiness, health and money…If you don’t no one else will. Hope this helps someone:) Tonia Chisolm, RN
