Nurse RN Forum – *Another* home care agency startup.: I’m looking into AHI amd would like to h…

I’m looking into AHI amd would like to hear about your experience, can we connect?
I would recommend doing your research and comparing apples to apples. There are a lot of quacks out there from my experience when looking for an organization to help me start a home care business . People would actually say things like “Sales, smales, you don’t need to worry about getting clients… its keeping them that counts…” Anyone who says that has not owned a non medical home care business in a competitive market place, period. Look before you leap. There are many fools out there who would take your money and give you what you could read in a book. Find a company that will teach you how to sell your business and actually give you clients from their corporate contracts and national programs. No amount of slick office set up is going to do you any good if you don’t have clients. Keeping them is obviously important but much easier to manage than actually getting the clients in the first place. Check a companies references before you leap. Talk to people they have already helped before. Search online for “Complaints” against their company name. Do your home work and you will make the right decision. I did all of this and went with www.startuphomecare.com and AHI Group’s nationwide membership organization of 300 home care agencies. It was the right model for what I was looking for.
